The meaning of Shiver me Timbers is unknown, some say the phrase originated from when the water or a canon would hit the ship, and the ship would shake. Hence, shivering, and timbers being the actual ship. Others say it means "rattle my bones". Timbers referring to bones, and shiver referring to being afraid. Regardless of it's origins, this new print from Loudmouth Golf will have you talking like a pirate and have the rest of your foursome shaking in their golf shoes. "Shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat!
